Spanning an area of 100,000 square meters, the green space is located at the Yan’an East Road exit, in the heart of Lujiazui, and is one of the largest lawn areas in Shanghai. Known as the ‘urban green lung’, the Lujiazui Green Space boasts a turf area of 65,000 square meters, featuring cold-season grass imported from Europe that remains evergreen throughout the year. The central and northern parts of the green space are adorned with weeping willows, magnolia, ginkgo, cedar, and other flowering plants, shrubs, and trees, brimming with vitality. The entrance to the green space features a sculpture themed around ‘spring’, composed of eight blooming steel ‘flowers’. The meandering paths within the green space outline the pattern of the white magnolia flower, which resembles the emblem of Shanghai. In the middle of the magnolia is an 8,600 square meter lake, designed in the shape of the Pudong map area. The main mast of the lakeside pavilion stands 28 meters high, with a white conch-shaped pavilion resembling a sail, evoking boundless imagination. Open year-round from 05:00 to 22:00.
