Sanya Haitang Bay National Rice Park is the main body of a scenic area of more than 2,000 acres of paddy fields, including Yuan Longping’s rice experimental fields. Surrounding the park are facilities such as a characteristic town, agricultural museum, folk art and art exhibition hall, rural-themed hotel, commercial street, and rice style photography base.
The Rice Park leverages the advantageous resources of the national coast and integrates folk experience, ecological leisure, health preservation, scientific education, and agricultural production functions. The park is open all year round from 08:30 to 18:00.
Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) or under 6 years old (inclusive) enter for free. Elderly people over 70 years old (inclusive) with ID or senior citizen preferential certificate enter for free; those between 60 years old (inclusive) and 69 years old (inclusive) with valid documents (ID, senior citizen preferential certificate) receive a discount. Disabled individuals with a disability certificate enter for free. Tour guides with a national tourism bureau-issued guide certificate enter for free. Journalists with a press card issued by the national press office enter for free. Military personnel, including active-duty soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army and the Armed Police Force, revolutionary disabled soldiers, and retired soldiers with the corresponding certificates enter for free. Firefighters with firefighting rescue team officer certificates, firefighter certificates, student certificates, and retirement certificates enter for free. Minors between 1.2 meters (not inclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive) or between 6 years old (not inclusive) and 18 years old (not inclusive) receive a discount. Students with full-time undergraduate and below degrees with valid documents (ID, student card) receive a discount. Additional note: The above free ticket policy is only for entrance tickets; night performances (excluding free children) and other park experience projects do not participate in free ticket preferences.
