Duration: 1 day. Time: June. Per capita cost: 20 yuan. With whom: Friends. Activities: Photography, independent travel, saving money. The author visited these places: Shanghai Fengpu Four Seasons Ecological Park. Posted on June 28, 2020, at 16:49. The COVID-19 pandemic has always plagued people around the world. Fortunately, China has controlled it well. Shanghai has done a good job in preventing imported cases. There have been no group infections. Wearing a mask when going out, one can still take a walk. Trapped by the epidemic, people can’t stay at home any longer. They really want to go outside and take a stroll and breathe fresh air. On June 19, when I got up, I saw the clear sky and bright sunshine, and I was extremely comfortable. Because at the beginning of the month, I had made an appointment with my photography-loving colleague to go to Xianyuan (Fengpu Four Seasons Ecological Park) in Fengxian, Shanghai. Due to rain, it was postponed. Now it can finally happen. Fengpu Four Seasons Ecological Park is planned and designed by Shanghai Modern Design Institute. The green coverage rate in the park is over 70%. It has a foreign scenery. The park plants arbors and middle-level colorful-leaved and flowering small trees. The apricot tree is selected as the characteristic tree species of the park. Combined with other various flowers and trees, it forms a scene of one flower blooming alone and a hundred flowers vying for beauty. There are various buildings in the park, such as cultural corridors, Islamic gardens, European castles, French buildings, etc. The castles and villas outside the park complement each other and are known as ‘Shanghai’s Downton Abbey’. The park is at 515 Hanyi Road, Fengxian. I went out at 7 o’clock in the morning, took the subway, and after several transfers, finally took Line 5 from Xinzhuang to Huancheng East Road Station. I exited from Exit 1, gathered people, and walked more than 200 meters eastward. It took a total of two hours to reach Xianyuan and entered for free. The sky is really blue. It is even bluer when taking pictures with a mobile phone. Let’s tour with the pictures. No reservation is required. There are not many people. Enter after taking temperature. From the Sixian Seal and Songxian Wall at the park entrance to the statue of Yanzi, all are centered around the time axis, showing the gradual evolution and development process of the ‘virtue culture’ in the long history of Fengxian. So tourists can gradually learn and understand the ‘virtue culture’ while moving and viewing different scenes. Oh, it turns out that Xianyuan was named by Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty. Forgive me for my ignorance. First, go to the water garden. Strolling by the pond, the eyes are full of greenery and lotus flowers are in full bloom, emerging unstained from the mud. It is really a scene of ‘The lotus leaves in the sky are boundlessly green, and the lotus flowers in the sunlight are extremely red.’ The European castle bell tower outside the courtyard is reflected on the lake surface. The willows on the shore sway with the wind. Strolling under the tree shadows is extremely comfortable. However, beauty-loving photography enthusiasts turn on the photo-taking mode. They pose in various styles under the scorching sun and take crazy pictures. Serious photography enthusiasts focus well and set the self-timer mode. Take a group photo. The effect is good. Because I got up early, I am a bit hungry. I eat the dry food and drinks I brought first. At the same time, reducing the load can make it easier.
After taking a short rest, we came to the French Garden. There are European castles, bridges, sculptures, and football fields. Passing by the Islamic Garden, due to the existence of danger in the building and the falling off of tiles on the top, it is not open. We have no chance to enter and see its true appearance. The rural scenery. To the north of the Dutch windmill is a group of garden villas. In the afternoon, the weather turned cloudy and the clouds became thicker and thicker. We began to come out and continue to take Line 5 and get off at Jinhai Lake Station. Then we walked to Nianfeng Park of Shanghai Fish. It is mainly to see the scenery by the lake. Sunflowers are not here, and it is not connected to Bubble Park and the museum. We still have to come out from the entrance. When we came out, it was already more than 2 pm. The place for taking pictures of sunflowers is still two stops away. In fact, there is Fengxian Line 21 that can reach it after getting out of Line 5. It is only three stops away. That’s it. There are fewer Line 21 buses, so we walked there. Passing by Kaiser Wedding Hotel. The environment at the entrance is very good. Stop and take pictures. Not far from the hotel is the shooting location of Gesang flowers and sunflowers. Opposite to Hupan Road is the field of verbena. After walking two stops, we finally arrived. Forgetting the foot pain, we quickly took pictures. As an old man, I am a bit tired. I won’t take many pictures of verbena. Let’s rest for a while first. After taking a good rest, we came to the Concentric Knot to take a group photo again. We started to return at more than 4 pm. Took Line 21 to the subway station of Line 5. Took the subway at 5 pm and arrived home at 7 pm. A whole day of 20,000 steps. I got tanned and was exhausted, but I was very happy.
