Park Garden

Park Garden was built by businessman Wang Zhaoming in the 1930s. It is a building of the Republic of China era and also a young garden in this ancient city. Park Garden has endured many hardships. It was once occupied by the Japanese army. In the 1950s, it was a sanatorium. Later, it belonged to the epidemic prevention station of the Suzhou Health Bureau. At the end of 2004, it was handed over to the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication for use and management. Currently, there are units such as the Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theatre of Jiangsu Province, the Suzhou Printmaking Institute, the Suzhou Sichuan-Chongqing Chamber of Commerce, the Taohuawu Folk Custom Museum, and the Taohuawu New Year Woodblock Painting Museum. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
