Phase II of Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, as a key project of Hainan Province, is a new benchmark for multi-functional and composite convention and exhibition complexes. The total construction area of this project is approximately 198,600 square meters. It contains multiple exhibition halls, conference centers and supporting facilities. It is closely connected with the first-phase project and jointly constitutes an important platform for Haikou’s convention and exhibition industry. Highlights of the second phase include Exhibition Hall 5 in the north hall and four exhibition halls in the south hall, with a total area of more than 80,000 square meters, capable of accommodating large-scale exhibition activities. In addition, there are also banquet halls, multi-function halls and international conference halls, etc., to meet various needs for conferences and banquets. The project adopts new technologies such as environmental protection, energy conservation, wind resistance and earthquake resistance. The building assembly rate is high, showing the charm of modern building technology. Phase II of Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center not only improves the hardware facility level of Hainan’s convention and exhibition industry but also injects new vitality into the economic development of Haikou City.
