Bai Bu Sha is located on the seaside, about a hundred meters east of the Puji Temple, with a length of over 600 meters from north to south and a width of more than 200 meters from east to west. It is named Bai Bu Sha because it corresponds to the Qian Bu Sha to the north of Chaoyang Cave, and is also known as Ta Qian Sha. This place boasts a well-equipped seaside bathing area, where swimming in the sea is possible during the summer, and taking a walk by the sea is also a pleasant experience, especially beautiful at dusk.
The sand at Bai Bu Sha is pure and the beach has an elegant shape. Due to the narrowness of the beach, influenced by the tides and direction, the sea here appears particularly gentle. In front of the beach, the sea area is vast, and the beach itself is wide and flat. In the middle of the beach, there is a small slope extending into the sea, on which a delicate pavilion is built, called Shi Shi Ting. It, like the Liu Guan Ting at the northern end, is an excellent spot for visitors to watch the sunrise, listen to the sound of the waves, and enjoy the sea breeze.
On summer nights, the sea breeze is refreshing, and the cool air attracts many tourists to stroll and cool off. The area is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening conditions.
