Sanfeng Palace in Kaohsiung is a temple located in Sankuaicu, Kaohsiung
It was initially built in the 27th year of Yongli in the Ming Zheng period
Its old name was ‘Sanfeng Pavilion’
The main deity enshrined here is the Marshal of the Central Altar
It is a famous Taoist holy place and also one of the representative temples in Kaohsiung City
In 1964, due to the widening of Jianguo 3rd Road, the temple was relocated to its current address on Hebei 2nd Road
After 1971, the reconstruction was completed and it was officially renamed ‘Sanfeng Palace’
It has also become a relatively large-scale temple dedicated to Third Prince Nezha in the local area
