Synopsis: Hua Erniang, a ‘person’ who loves to hear jokes, has been in Yanjin for over three thousand years. She always carries a basket of persimmons and asks people for jokes. She seeks jokes not in the daytime, but at night, in people’s dreams. However, over the course of three thousand years, her own story has become the biggest joke in Yanjin. When Chen Mingliang was young, his mother Yingtao hanged herself over a bunch of chives. After his father remarried, Mingliang began to face his own life alone, leaving his hometown Yanjin, and then returning after more than twenty years, experiencing many stories that are both funny and heart-wrenching, and lamenting that his life has also become a joke… The event is open from October 17th to October 19th, subject to on-site confirmation.
