[Shanghai] Antonio Pappano, Yuja Wang and the London Symphony Orchestra 2024 Shanghai Concert

The London Symphony Orchestra (London Symphony Orchestra). The London Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1904 and is the oldest existing orchestra in London, representing the highest performance level in the UK. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Queen’s Hall Orchestra established in 1895. In 1904, about half of the players of this orchestra formed a new orchestra, and Hans Richter was appointed as the chief conductor of the orchestra. In July this year, BBC Music Magazine released the world’s best 28 symphony orchestras, and the London Symphony Orchestra is among them. The orchestra’s artist lineup includes: Sir Antonio Pappano, chief conductor; Sir Simon Rattle, honorary conductor; Gianandrea Noseda and François-Xavier Roth, principal guest conductors; Michael Tilson Thomas, laureate conductor, as well as guest artists Barbara Hannigan and André J. Thomas. Opening hours: 10/08 – 10/10, subject to on-site conditions.
