The building, originally the Jardine Matheson Building, is now a protected historical structure in Shanghai. As the core venue of the Jiu Shi Art Museum cluster, the museum is grounded in the local Shanghai culture and arts, hosting comprehensive and international art exhibitions. It is part of the Jiu Shi Art Museum cluster, which also includes the Jiu Shi Art Space at No. 18 the Bund and the Jiu Shi Art Salon. The museum’s opening hours are as follows: from January 26th to February 8th, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; closed all day from February 9th to February 12th; and from February 13th to December 31st, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
