From Tuesdays to Sundays, the library is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The card issuing office, collection reading room, Chinese social science periodicals room, Chinese science and technology periodicals room, foreign social science periodicals room, foreign science and technology periodicals room, modern and local documents reading room, and ancient books and family tree reading room all follow the same schedule, opening from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM on Mondays and from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Tuesdays to Sundays. The general reading room, study rooms, social science book room, science and technology book room, and newspapers and magazines room have extended hours, operating from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Mondays and from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM from Tuesdays to Sundays. The general checkout counter, reference book room, special document service point, and basic collection newspapers and periodicals service point are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Tuesdays to Sundays.
