The Shanghai Urban History Development Exhibition Hall is located in the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower. It is a vivid exhibition reflecting the historical changes of modern Shanghai. The entire exhibition hall is composed of seven parts: ‘Origin of Huating’, ‘Urban Scene’, ‘Glimpse of the Port Opening’, ‘Ten Mile Foreign Market’, ‘Maritime Pursuit’, ‘Architectural Expo’, and ‘Spring and Autumn of Carriages and Horses’. The exhibition hall adopts a scenic display method of ‘integrating objects into the scenery’, supplemented by high-tech technical means, integrating cultural relics, props, and models. It is an exhibition integrating history, culture, and appreciation with innovative concepts. Visiting the exhibition hall is like traveling through history and passing through an era, allowing the audience to pursue old dreams of the sea, admire modern historical facts, and taste Shanghai’s long-standing culture. Opening hours: Open all year round from 09:00 to 21:00.
