Welcome to Shanghai Wildlife Park, where your heart’s yearning for nature and curiosity will be awakened. We will interpret a beautiful home where humans and animals coexist harmoniously. As one of the first 5A-level tourist attractions in China, we have always been working to close the gap between humans and nature. The park’s three main areas – the walking area, the drive-in area, and the ‘Water Exploration’ – will present over 200 species of wild animals from both China and abroad, totaling tens of thousands of animals, from different perspectives. You will not only encounter adorable animals such as giant pandas, giraffes, and flamingos, but also experience the wild calls of fierce animals like Siberian tigers, African lions, and cheetahs at close range. This is also a warm home for animals in the city, and we are committed to promoting animal welfare and advocating for animal protection. Conservationists will provide you with rich ‘scientific explanations’ and ‘animal behavior demonstrations’ at fixed times, allowing you to learn about the lesser-known sides of animals. The park is open from January 1st to June 30th from 09:00 to 17:00; from July 1st to October 7th from 09:00 to 22:00; from October 8th to November 30th from 09:00 to 17:00; and from December 1st to December 31st from 09:00 to 16:30.
