Established during the Chi Wu era of the Three Kingdoms period, Shou Sheng Temple has a history of over 1750 years. Throughout history, it has experienced periods of prosperity and decline. In the fifth year of the Jingtai era of the Ming Dynasty, the temple was devastated by a flood, with its thousand-pound bell submerged in the mud and sand. It was not until the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty that Chen Lun, Zang Baoying, and four others undertook the reconstruction of the temple. Unfortunately, the temple was destroyed again during the later stages of the Cultural Revolution. In 1995, devotees from various places spontaneously organized donations to rebuild the temple. The temple is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.

Admission is open year-round from 08:00 to 17:00, with actual operating conditions depending on the day’s opening status.
