The term ‘exclusive’ is used for this exhibition because some of the works are the only ones known to be printed from the negatives, others are unique due to manufacturing processes, and some are made irreplaceable by the artists’ creative touch, transforming images that could be duplicated into one-of-a-kind pieces.

In the exhibition, one can see the artists’ responses to the inherent reproducibility of photography. They reveal the unique creativity of photographic art, which can capture the invisible aspects of our familiar daily lives, such as the passage of time, the trajectory of motion, the traces of light, and even the marks of divinity. The unique works created by the most important photographic masters of the last century each point to the opposition between photography and its own reproducibility, allowing us to glimpse the solitary exploration of photographic art by the masters themselves – the ‘Century of Solitude’ path, and reflecting on the meaning of ‘solitude’ within it.

Open from September 15th to March 30th, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.
