Swiss Miniature Park

The Swiss Miniature Park is located in Melide town south of Lugano. It is a miniature landscape park in Switzerland and was officially opened in 1959. Here there are models of 130 houses, castles and historical sites. There is also a children’s playground and cafeteria, making it a great place for family parent-child tours. The models in the park are vivid and lifelike. You can see well-known landscapes such as Heidi’s Village in Maienfeld, the castles of Burgdorf and Chillon, the Parliament Building in Bern and the Milan Cathedral. Interestingly, there is a track of up to 3.5 kilometers between these building model groups, with 18 train models running on it. In addition, models of cog railways, cable cars, mountain railways and ships are also included, completely showing Switzerland’s developed public transportation system. If you don’t have time to travel all over Switzerland, you might as well come here for a visit.
