The Astronomical Science Education Hall utilizes a variety of models, engaging and educational graphics, and interactive experiences to quickly introduce you to the development of space exploration, gradually enhance your astronomical knowledge, and further understand Taiwan’s current research findings. The exhibition area is divided into: Prelude, Earth, Space Exploration, Sun-Earth-Moon, Solar System, Star World, Galaxy, Children’s Area, Galaxies, Universe, Exploration of Extraterrestrial Life, Astronomical Observation – Discovering the Secrets of Starlight, What is Gravitational Waves, and International Astronomical Research in Taiwan. By utilizing various exhibition areas, visitors can delve into the mysteries of the universe and explore the wonders of astronomy. The Taipei Astronomical Museum meticulously plans a journey called ‘Space Adventure’, which will take you through the scenery of the solar system, explore extraterrestrial worlds, and experience the grand and vast sea of stars in the universe. Along a 200-meter long track, ‘Space Adventure’ interweaves film, lighting, and scenes to create a magnificent extraterrestrial landscape, transforming limited space into boundless surprises. Riding in a slow-moving closed carriage feels like piloting a spaceship soaring through the sky. The ten-minute journey will give you an unforgettable space adventure experience in your lifetime! Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday, Sunday 09:00-17:00; Saturday 09:00-20:00.
