Tang Yin Garden, also known as Tang Bo Hu Cultural Park or ‘Tang Yin Cemetery’, is located at the intersection of Jiefang West Road and West Ring Road in the southwest of Suzhou city. The entire cemetery boasts a beautiful environment with well-organized domestic courtyards, simple architecture, and serene scenery.
Upon entering Tang Yin Garden, one is greeted by a wall depicting the ‘Four Great Talents of the Jiangnan Region’. Inside, there are scenes such as ‘Talented Scholar Washing Fans’, ‘Golden Toad’, the Scholar’s Gate, and a calligraphy work created by Tang Bohu himself hanging in front of the gate. Tang Yin, styled Bo Hu, is widely recognized as one of the ‘Four Great Talents of the Jiangnan Region’. He was a renowned painter, calligrapher, and literary figure during the Ming Dynasty. Tang Yin excelled in landscape painting and was also skilled in portraying figures, especially women, with a delicate and freehand style that has been admired by later generations.

The garden features a double-gate with clear water-brushed brick facades, engraved with the words ‘Tang Yin Cemetery’. Passing through the east and west gate halls to the north, the stone驳方池 (square pool with stone edges), and the granite two-pillar sky-piercing archway, one arrives at the Peach Blossom Immortal Pavilion, Dream Ink Hall, and the Six Such Hall, which together form the Tang Yin Memorial Exhibition Room.
