This edition of the Games features approximately 7000 athletes from 35 representative teams of 56 ethnic groups across the nation.
The competition includes 18 competitive events and around 170 performance projects, which are categorized into three types: competitive, skillful, and comprehensive. These events are the result of the long-term social practices of various ethnic groups, rich in ethnic characteristics and regional features, closely related to the economic and cultural aspects of each ethnicity.
The competitive events include Flower Cannon, Pearl Ball, Wood Ball, Cuju, Solo Bamboo Drifting, Swing, Crossbow Shooting, Top Spinning, Yakou, High-Speed Stilt Racing, and Plate Shoes Racing. In addition to their competitive nature, these sports events also reflect fun and entertainment. The event is open to the public from November 22nd to November 30th.
