The totem pole is located in the Yalong Bay Central Square. Together with the surrounding central sculpture area, it forms three circles of stone formations. The totem pole and the sculpture group are in perfect harmony. It gives people a visual experience of soaring towards the blue sky and extending towards the sea. On the periphery of the square, there are five groups of white sail-shaped spire tents and a large colorful fountain, adding a lot of modern flavor to the deeply cultural sculpture. The column surface relief has sixteen totem patterns. Each circle of stone formations has its unique significance. For example, each group of stone carvings in the first circle represents ancient graphics of four directions. The eight groups of stone formations in the second circle represent eight ancient myths of classic significance. The stone carvings in the third circle represent the Chinese nation’s worship of natural totems. The totem pole endows the Yalong Bay Central Square with artistic connotations and is worth a visit. Open all year round and open all day.
