Wen Dao Garden: A Cultural Leisure Park Preserving Traditional Rural Architecture

Wen Dao Garden is located at the northeastern corner of Luo Dian Town, serving as a cultural leisure park primarily focused on the preservation of traditional rural architecture. The park features Huizhou-style buildings relocated from places like Anhui, along with a collection of valuable exotic stones. It also includes a restaurant and a club. Due to its distance from the city center, visitors to this location often come to unwind during leisure time or for banquets and gatherings. The main attractions of the scenic area are concentrated to the left of the main gate, although visitors typically enter through the right side, allowing them to appreciate the garden landscapes along the way. After walking past the Bagua Lotus Pond, the Exotic Stone Pavilion is not far ahead. This is a must-see spot in Wen Dao Garden, featuring a table full of ‘Manchu-Han Full Banquet’ stone dishes that are incredibly lifelike, and a large block of Hetian jade said to be worth over a hundred million, which is the treasure of the pavilion. Additionally, visitors can see a rare nest of dinosaur egg fossils and many other rare treasures. Stone enthusiasts should not miss this. Exiting the Exotic Stone Pavilion and passing the Imperial Edict Archway, one will find the Huizhou-style architecture complex ahead. Huizhou carved buildings such as the ‘Wu Zhuangyuan Building’ have been reconstructed and renovated to look brand new. Combined with the park’s small bridges and flowing water, they offer a unique charm. The Jinshi Mansion has been transformed into the Wen Dao Garden Restaurant, surrounded by a glass sunroom where visitors can order some light snacks like noodles and wontons.
