Located in the southeast of Tianmu Lake, Wu and Chu Agricultural Culture Park is relatively far from the lake itself but closer to the west end of Yixing Hengshan Reservoir. The park features a series of Jiangnan farmhouses arranged with a strong rural charm, where visitors can see various agricultural tools. In addition, there are interactive activities such as water wheel stepping for visitors to participate in.
The scenic area is divided into several zones including the Agricultural Exhibition Area, Living Utensils Area, Peasant Culture Area, Folk Customs Area, Handicraft Workshop Area, and Rural Fun Area. In the Agricultural Exhibition Area, the farmhouses display statues of farmers and oxen plowing fields, as well as agricultural tools for spring plowing and autumn harvest. The Living Utensils Area showcases the environment of rural life, where one can see carved chairs, carved beds, and kitchen arrangements. The Peasant Culture Area features tea culture and cultural celebrities. In the Folk Customs Area, visitors can play with water wheels and sometimes enjoy traditional performances on the ancient stage. The Handicraft Workshop Area uses statues and real objects to demonstrate traditional crafts such as weaving and cotton ginning.
