The Wu Lao Stream features several sediment barriers, creating small waterfalls. The stream is gentle and shallow enough for activities such as playing in the water, catching shrimp, and boating. Deeper pools are abundant with creek fish and stone-clinging fish, making it an ideal spot for fishing enthusiasts. The Wu Lao Pit Scenic Area has two camping areas that can accommodate up to 1,000 campers and are well-equipped with facilities such as cooking pavilions, campfire sites, gathering areas for rainy days, and separate restrooms for men and women. Each barbecue pavilion is furnished with eight grills, eight camping spots, and eight sets of wooden picnic tables, providing great convenience. The scenic area also has a service center with a blue sloping roof and white walls, which displays information about Wu Lao Pit, including park guides, ticket prices, camping site rental procedures, and catering services. It also provides changing facilities for visitors who wish to play in the water. Visitors can climb to the pavilion to rest and enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding green mountains and clear waters, appreciating the natural beauty. The area is open all year round from 08:00 to 20:00.
