Wuzhi Rock Scenic Area

The Wuzhi Rock Scenic Area is located in the north of Yongkang City. It borders Yiwu City in the northwest and is adjacent to Dongyang in the north. The main peak has an altitude of 712 meters and a circumference of five kilometers. It is about twice as high as Fangyan, a famous scenic spot in eastern Zhejiang. Therefore, there is a folk saying: ‘Fangyan is high, but not as high as halfway up Wuzhi Rock.’ Wuzhi Rock rises abruptly from the ground, with sheer cliffs as if cut by a knife. It is majestic and spectacular and is known as Five Fingers Reaching for Clouds, one of the ten scenic spots in Yongkang. In the early morning, there are clouds and rosy hues. In the evening, there is a panoramic view of the sunset. It is an ideal place for climbing high and looking far. The Wuzhi Rock Scenic Area is divided into three major scenic areas: Mipu, Taoyan, and Zhifeng, as well as nearby scenic spots such as Jiuxiexi Beach and Shiniu Mountain. Opening hours: Open all year round from 8:00 to 18:00.
