Wuzhou Park

Wuzhou Park is bordered by Shengli South Street to the east and Piao Ping Road to the north, facing Tianning Temple across the road. After its renovation in 2004, the original Wuzhou Park and Children’s Park were merged into one,统一称Wuzhou Park, with additional scenic spots and structures added to enrich the park’s offerings.

‘Qingbo Ancient Charm’ consists of Qingbo Gate Square, the ancient Qingbo Gate archway, Cen Cui Lake, and Cen Cui Pavilion. The archway overlooks the water, facing Cen Cui Pavilion across the lake, with the reflections in the water creating an interesting spectacle.

‘Ode to Light’ is a cultural square themed around the commemoration of Ai Qing, primarily for night views, highlighting the effects of light through fountains, paving, and lighting to pay tribute to the poet Ai Qing.

‘Flower Stream and Spring’ is a stream connecting Cen Cui Lake and Qingbo Lake, creating a natural and wild landscape with stone banks, pebbles, aquatic plants, and gentle slopes on both banks.

‘Clear Wind and Shadow’ is composed of the original Ming Xiang Xuan, Qingbo Lake, Ling Bo Pavilion, Water Scenery Platform, and Floating Cloud Island, forming the main lake landscape of the park. With a gentle breeze blowing, clear ripples on the water, and floating cloud shadows, strolling through the area is a serene experience.

‘Hui Garden’ is a traditional garden landscape with mountains and water, where the layout of ancient buildings is ingenious, and the plant configuration is just right, making it an ideal place for visitors to enjoy tea, reminisce, play chess, and meet friends.

‘Winding Water to Seclusion’ is a stream connecting the bright Qingbo Lake with the quiet waters of Hui Garden, flowing into the Hui Garden pool through Lian Li Pavilion. The pavilion overlooks the water, with meandering streams and dense shade, forming a tranquil picture.

‘Dual Stream Fisherman’s Song’ has a black pine forest to the north, and the area around Shuangxi Pavilion is densely wooded. Immersed in this environment, one can listen to the rustling of the pines and observe the fishing songs at the confluence of the three rivers at sunset. The bull sculpture to the south is complemented by a water platform, which not only enhances the sculpture’s grandeur but also extends the open space of the large lawn towards the river surface. The lawn is bordered by a snow pine forest to the west, a Chinese red maple forest to the east, and an osmanthus forest to the south, with blooming shrubs and flowers.

‘Mist and Rain in the Green Dawn’ is primarily composed of Qingbo Tower. On rainy days, looking across the bank at Qingbo Tower and the forests appearing and disappearing in the mist, the hazy groves and the riverside tower create an ethereal scene.

The park is open all day, every day from January 1st to December 31st.
