The Xisha Islands Cruise Center, situated in the South China Sea, has attracted major international cruise lines such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Star Cruises, which have chosen the center to launch several routes stopping in Sanya, accommodating over 380 domestic and international cruise voyages.
In response to the nation’s directives to vigorously develop the cruise economy, the Phase II project of Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Port is underway. It includes the construction of one 30,000-ton and one 100,000-ton wharf, two 150,000-ton wharfs, and one 250,000-ton wharf. Once completed, the Xisha Islands Cruise Center will be able to simultaneously dock six international cruise ships ranging from 30,000 to 250,000 tons, positioning it among Asia’s top-quality cruise homeports in terms of scale and construction standards.
The center is open year-round from 08:30 to 17:30.
