Xuwen Zhenwu Temple

Zhenwu Temple, also known as ‘White Crane Temple’, is located in Xuwen County, Zhanjiang City.


On the Baihe Mountain in Xuwen County, there is a little-known ancient temple called Zhenwu Temple. The temple faces south and is divided into front and back halls. Although the exact construction date is unknown, according to the ‘Xuwen County Chronicles’ from the Qing Dynasty, specifically during the 11th year of the Jiaqing era (1806), the temple was renovated, indicating its long history.

As recorded in the ‘Cultural Relics Chronicles of Xuwen County’, Zhenwu Temple is situated in front of the Baihe Mountain stream and was originally named ‘Zhenwu Temple’, also referred to as ‘White Crane Temple’.
