Yancheng Dafeng Port Zoo is located in the core area of Dafeng Port City, built adjacent to the beautiful Riyue Lake. Covering an area of about 500 acres, it has established several exquisite attractions including the Rare Birds Garden, Giant Panda Paradise, Ubangsi Pere David’s Deer Garden, Predators Tribe, and the Yellow Sea Flower and Fruit Mountain Villa. Development plans include the construction of an aquarium, a reptile park, and an insect zone along the islands of Riyue Lake. The developing Yancheng Dafeng Port Zoo is striving towards the ambitious goal of becoming the world’s first coastal wetland zoo.
Opening hours are from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) enter for free; those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive) qualify for a preferential ticket. Elderly people aged 70 years (inclusive) and above enter for free with a senior citizen card or ID; those aged between 65 years (inclusive) and 70 years (exclusive) qualify for a preferential ticket with a senior citizen card or ID. Disabled individuals enter for free with a disability card. Active-duty military personnel enter for free with an officer’s ID, and retired military personnel with a retirement preferential certificate enter for free. Blood donors enter for free with a blood donation honor certificate, and police officers enter for free with a police officer’s ID.
