The Yiwu Museum was formerly the Public Education Center established in 1972. It is one of the county-level museums established relatively early in China. The exhibition halls mainly feature exhibitions on Yiwu’s historical sites and special exhibitions. The historical sites are displayed according to historical evolution, showcasing cultural relics from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the historical sites of major local historical celebrities. The collection is relatively rich and has a strong regional cultural atmosphere. The collections are classified and collected according to stoneware, jade ware, ceramics, bronze ware, ironware, gold and silver ware, calligraphy and paintings, etc. In particular, the original celadon from the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Wuzhou kiln porcelain from the Six Dynasties, the gold and silver ware from the Song Dynasty, and the Longquan kiln porcelain from the Yuan Dynasty are very distinctive. The specific opening hours are subject to on-site announcements.
