Gorgeous posters are filled with elegant silhouettes of women, with flowing hair and infinite meandering. This is what comes to mind when we face the name Alfons Mucha (1860-1939). He is an artist from the Czech Republic, but his artistic achievements quickly gained worldwide fame. Driven by economic difficulties in the early days, he became an illustrator. His reputation in the printing and publishing industry was established in 1890. If his influence is attributed to these posters that have become iconic of the Art Nouveau movement, then Alfons Mucha should be more worthy of being called an artist. His versatility can fully flourish in an era where art is everywhere, from painted products to advertising posters, from jewelry to storefront designs, all over Paris, Brussels, Prague or various places in the world. This time, the European Art Alliance will present more than 100 precious prints, manuscripts and documents of Alfons Mucha collected by us over the years. With an immersive and comprehensive display, we will lead everyone to appreciate the works of this strange artist with symbolism and mysterious atmosphere, and lead everyone to dream back to a century ago. Let’s discover and awaken the sleeping elves together! The full text is open from 09/30 to 01/10. About 60 minutes (subject to the site).
