Located along the Huangpu River in Shanghai, the 1862 Fashion Art Center is a heritage-protected building that dates back to 1862, originally the Shanghai Xingsheng Shipyard. It has been repurposed through the international vision of Japanese designer Kengo Kuma, transforming it into a ‘museum-style theater’ that straddles the line between historical remains and future art. Open all year round from 09:00 to 20:00. Essential tips for visiting: 1. When purchasing tickets, please confirm the performance time, venue, price, and seat number. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once sold. Holders of special discount tickets must present valid identification for verification before entry. 2. Please keep your tickets intact and clean. Tickets with missing or altered sections, or with obscured content, will be considered invalid and entry will be refused. 3. One person, one ticket; please sit in your designated seat. Latecomers are asked to enter during intermissions. 4. Children must purchase full-price tickets. Entry is denied to children under 1 meter in height, and those over 1 meter must enter with an accompanying adult (except for children’s special events). Entry is refused for those who are improperly dressed or intoxicated. 5. Please cooperate with security checks and avoid bringing dangerous items, beverages, and food into the venue. Smoking and open flames are prohibited inside the theater. 6. During performances, mobile phones should be turned off or set to silent mode to maintain the quiet and civil atmosphere of the theater. 7. Unauthorized photography and videography are prohibited, and the use of flash is strictly forbidden. 8. In case of force majeure or objective reasons that prevent the performance from proceeding as planned, the organizing institution will handle ticket refunds. 9. Please purchase tickets through designated channels. If you are unable to enter the theater due to purchasing counterfeit tickets from illegal or non-designated channels, the responsibility lies with the ticket buyer. 10.
