It is located at the beautiful Xishan foothill in Haining City, Zhejiang Province. There are exhibition halls, creation halls, galleries, etc. It mainly collects and studies the artworks of Qian Juntao. It is a high-grade art palace full of modern atmosphere.
Qian Juntao was born on February 11, 1907 in Tudian, Tongxiang. His original name is Yutang, his academic name is Jintang, and his literary name is Yutang. He is known as a famous seal engraver, painter and calligrapher.
In 1996, Qian once again donated 1,000 pieces of Ming and Qing calligraphy and paintings carefully collected throughout his life, works of modern and contemporary masters and his own calligraphy, painting and seal engraving to Haining City. For this reason, Haining City specially built the Qian Juntao Art Research Museum.
