On the eastern side of the Alishan Main Peak’s Shenmu Station stands a towering Taiwania tree, leaning slightly towards the sky, with its main trunk broken but the branches at the top still lush and green
The tree is approximately 52 meters tall and has a circumference of around 23 meters, requiring more than a dozen people to encircle it
Majestic and robust, it is revered as the ‘Alishan Sacred Tree’
