Bai Shi Mountain is located to the north of Gu Zi Lake. It is named after the predominantly white rocks found on the mountain.
The northern slope of the mountain is steep and cliff-like, while the southern side has a gentler incline. At the mid-slope, there is a flat area measuring approximately 60 square meters.
Legend has it that two celestial maidens played chess on this flat area, which was occasionally observed by a shepherd boy who discovered the secrets of the heavens, hence the name Bai Shi Xian Ping.
