Bai Zhang Waterfall, also known as Fu Yan Waterfall and Fu An Waterfall, is located in the Da Ruo Rock Scenic Area of Nan Xi River. It is the second tallest waterfall in Zhejiang Province, standing at a height of 124 meters. The waterfall cascades from a 124-meter cliff, surrounded on three sides with sheer cliffs that are slightly concave, resembling the vertical cross-section of a large jade vessel. The waterfall appears to be a thousand feet of white silk, with the Milky Way hanging upside down. Depending on the season and climate, the shape of the waterfall is also very changeable and mysterious. During the rainy season, the water is abundant, and the waterfall looks like a jade dragon descending and galloping horses, with the waterfall breeze wetting clothes up to fifty to sixty meters away. In dry weather, the waterfall becomes a strand of silver silk, ethereal and hazy, and sitting by the pool is a relaxing and pleasant experience. Ming Wang Shuguo praised it in a poem: ‘Jade vessel leaning against the clouds, a hundred feet of flying spring hanging down. It seems to converge from the three islands and scatter into the nine dragon pools. The sun shines and the rainbow becomes colorful, the wind returns and the rain scatters the silk. When will there be a sudden rain, and the fields will be moistened.’ Next to Bai Zhang Waterfall, there are also strange peaks and rocks such as Tianzhu Peak, a single incense, and Beauty Rock. There were ancient pavilions called Xiao Yi Pavilion and Pian Yun Pavilion, said to be built by Song Dynasty Jinshi Chen Kui.
