Banzhu Scenic Area

The Banzhu Scenic Area is located at the foot of Banzhu Mountain, the main peak of Tianmu Mountain, beside National Highway 104. It is 15 kilometers away from the county seat and has convenient transportation. It is an important village on the ancient post roads of Tianmu, Tiantai and Linhai. Along the street, there are highways, post stations and inns, and it was once very prosperous. There are many ancient relics in the village. Landmark ancient buildings such as the ancient post road, ancient street, ancient bridge (Luomao Bridge), ancient temple (Sima Huimiao Temple), and ancient house (Zhangjia Ancestral Hall) are well preserved. The gorge is long and the stream is deep. The natural scenery is beautiful. The melancholy brook passes along the stream. Along the stream, there are white walls and black tiles. The mountain path leads to a secluded place, presenting a rural scenery. There are no industrial and mining enterprises that cause pollution in the area, so the air is fresh, the content of negative ions is high, and the microclimate is pleasant.
