Bao Yue An

Apart from the three major temples, Putuo Mountain also houses numerous smaller temples built between the Ming and Qing dynasties, commonly referred to as ‘an’. Bao Yue An is located at the foot of Xiangfeng Peak, in the western ravine of Chashan, and was restored by the monk Xiangyuan during the Qing Guangxu period.
