Beiqiao Park is located at the intersection of Nanqiao River and Beiqiao River in Chikan District. In 2003, Nanqiao Park had been built upstream of Nanqiao River. Beiqiao Park covers an area of 89 mu. There are scenic areas such as sports activity area, children’s entertainment area, mountain top fog square, and central square in the park. Gateball court, skating rink, children’s paradise, and fitness trail are in a line on the south side of Beiqiao River. The curtain stage and central square are the centers for mass cultural and entertainment activities. The theme sculpture “Love of the River” uses the English letter “R” to represent the confluence of the two rivers, symbolizing the successful closure of the renovation project of Nanqiao River and Beiqiao River.
