Located in the Qiancheng and Houcheng villages of Hengshan Township, Changxing County, at the northern foot of the main peak of Bianshan Mountain. Biyan, with an elevation of over 300 meters, is named for its layered and steep rocks that resemble mossy and rusty patterns from a distance.
Starting from the half-mile pavilion on the northern slope of Biyan, one can ascend along the stone path, passing through bamboo paths, by the Jade Crab Pond and the Seven-Star Platform, with steep peaks and grotesque rocks on both sides, offering views of the Incense Burner Peak, Parrot Stone, and the Worship Path Terrace among other scenic spots.

Upon reaching the top of Biyan, one can marvel at the ‘Three Wonders of Biyan’: the Beaded Curtain Waterfall, the Waterfall Spring, and the Dragon Mouth. Above Biyan lies the Biyan Hermitage, overlooking the vast expanse of Lake Taihu, with its surging waves stretching to the horizon. Next to the rock, there are two Waterfall Springs.
