The Boao Cherry Blossom Garden covers an area of 22.5 mu. The cherry blossom trees in the park have an average tree age of about 7 to 10 years. They are all big trees of 5 to 7 meters. When in full bloom, they cover the sky and are extremely beautiful and spectacular!
The variety of cherry blossom trees in the park is spring cherry blossom, also known as Thai cherry blossom, flatland cherry blossom, March cherry blossom, pink shower tree. It is native to Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, India and other places. It is a cherry blossom suitable for planting in subtropical regions. It blooms from March to April. The flowers are pink. When in bloom, only flowers can be seen but no leaves, which is extremely ornamental.
