The Changxing Huaxi Valley Scenic Area is located in Meihuawu, Longshanchuanbu Village, the core area of Longshan Forest Town, a provincial-level characteristic town in Changxing. Here, the mountains are beautiful, the waters are clear, flowers bloom all year round, and the forest coverage rate is more than 85%. It is known as the ‘hometown of longevity’. The Huaxi Valley Scenic Area covers an area of more than 300 mu and integrates ancient wood appreciation, forest culture, and forest science popularization. The collections in the scenic area are all treasures of nature. They are not carved, not polished, and not colored. They take on a natural state. All are exquisite and all are extraordinary. There are ‘divine woods’ from Yunnan, Guizhou, and Tibet and the Kunlun Mountains; ‘driftwoods’ from Changbai Mountain and the Songhua River and Heilongjiang basins; ‘ebony’ from the Emei Mountain area in Sichuan Province dating from more than 6,000 to 40,000 years ago; and ‘wood fossils and tree jades’ formed after hundreds of millions of years of vicissitudes from China, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries. Among them, there is the larger tree jade in the world. Here is also the location of the largest plum blossom enterprise in the country – Oriental Plum Garden. Strange stones and ancient plums are distributed in a mixed manner. Flowers and ancient trees set off each other. Curved waters reflect ponds dotted among them. Forest greenways surround the periphery, providing people with a quiet place to return to nature. Strolling in the international flower sea where red plums, roses, and crape myrtles compete for beauty is so fascinating that people linger and forget to return. In the dialogue with natural relics, one can travel through time and space to feel the infinite mysteries of the origin of life, the evolution of the earth, and the cycle of forests.
