The Qinshan Nuclear Power Science and Technology Museum is equipped with 13 exhibition halls such as China’s nuclear power road, nuclear safety and environmental protection, and harmonious nuclear home. The ‘energy gem’ on the exterior of the science and technology museum implies that nuclear energy is a clean, safe and efficient energy source. The characteristic buildings in the museum include an indoor LED spherical screen, a main model of a nuclear pressurized water reactor, and a large multimedia sand table of ‘harmonious nuclear home’. The first floor here shows China’s nuclear power development road. The second floor shows the principles of nuclear power and safety culture. The third floor shows the basic principles of nuclear energy and basic knowledge of nuclear energy. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, 09:00 – 15:30.
