The China Tourism Day Memorial Hall is located at the West Gate of Ninghai City Tower. The exhibition hall is divided into sections such as ‘Call of the Times’, ‘A Decade of Dreaming’, and ‘Dream Fulfilled on 5.19’. Based on historical materials, it displays important documents, news reports, and photographs from each period as exhibits, showcasing the origin of China Tourism Day, promoting the significance of establishing China Tourism Day, and promoting the spirit of Xu Xiake.
On March 13, 2013, the China Tourism Day Memorial Hall was officially opened. The hall also employs modern technological means such as magic book flipping, wall projection, LED TV screen splicing, and computer touch screens to design the ‘Xu Xiake’s Travel Notes’ magic book.
