Shulin Zhennangong is a temple dedicated to the Five-Year Qiansui Princes located in Shulin District, New Taipei City. It is a branch temple of Maming Mountain Zhen’an Palace. In 1958, traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Xu Pidian and 36 fellow villagers in Shulin town followed the divine revelation and went to Maming Mountain to request a branch spirit for worship. They built a temple on Caojian Street in Shulin’s Bo’ai District. It was completed by the end of 1963. The temple covers nearly a thousand square meters. Its current address is on Qiansui Street. People in Shulin often call it ‘Qiansuimiao’. The temple mainly enshrines the Five-Year Qiansui Princes. The temple authorities rotate the main deity for worship once every five years.
