Da Sha Ao Beach Bathing Area, also known as the seaside bathing spot, is shaped like a semi-embrace with a flat and open beach. The sand quality is characterized as iron plate sand, which is fine, soft, and not loose. Walking on it feels like treading on a carpet, offering a comfortable and pleasant experience.

This location is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. It also provides opportunities for beach volleyball and bicycle races. In the evenings, bonfire parties can be held, where people can sing and dance to their heart’s content.


The beach is surrounded by peculiar reefs, featuring landscapes such as the Seal’s Return, the Tiger’s Descent, the General Observing the Sky, and the Turtle Stone Rock. Adjacent to the bathing area, Nanpao Fort Hill offers a chance to watch seagulls and listen to the pine waves, providing a cleansing experience from the hustle and bustle, and is an excellent spot to enjoy the sunrise over the sea.


Opening hours are from 04/01 to 10/31 from 08:00 to 17:30; from 11/01 to 03/31 from 08:00 to 17:00.


Preferential policies include free admission for children under 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters in height (inclusive), with valid identification such as resident ID cards or household registration books. Youth from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan can enter for free with valid travel permits or student identification. Minors aged between 6 and 18 years old (inclusive) enjoy half-price admission with valid identification.


Seniors aged 70 and above (inclusive) enter for free with valid identification such as resident ID cards or senior citizen cards. Those aged between 60 and 70 years old (exclusive of 70) receive half-price admission.


Full-time university undergraduate students and below enjoy half-price admission with valid identification such as resident ID cards or student IDs.


Military personnel, disabled military personnel, martyr’s dependents, and dependents of military personnel who died in service or from illness enter for free with valid military identification or certificates from the veterans’ affairs department.


Firefighters, both active and disabled, and academy students enter for free with valid identification, receiving the same treatment as active military personnel.


People with disabilities enter for free with a disability certificate issued by the Disabled Persons’ Federation.


Honorary blood donors in Zhejiang Province who have reached the national standard for voluntary blood donation or have been awarded the national honor enter for free with a Zhejiang Province Blood Donation Honor Certificate issued by the Provincial Health Commission.
