Daochang Mountain, located south of Huzhou City, was formerly known as Yunfeng and is the tail end of Tianmu Mountain. According to historical records, Daochang Mountain originally had various pavilions such as Yanggao, Yiwan, Wanghu, Xiaoyue, Aishan, Fuhu, Ganquan, Taibai, and Miaomiao. Each pavilion had a different appearance and its own charm. In the Qing Dynasty, nine mountain pavilions still remained, but later they gradually fell into disuse. Now, only Guanghao Pavilion remains on the mountainside of Daochang Mountain. It was built in 1933 and is a relatively late-built pavilion on Daochang Mountain. There is a Duobao Pagoda on the top of the mountain. In the mountain col close to the summit, there is Wanshou Zen Temple, which has a great influence in the Buddhist circles of Japan and Southeast Asian countries.
