Dashigao, also known as Sipai Building, is located in Yong’an Village, Shankou Town, Hepu County, southeast of Beihai City, 100 kilometers away from Beihai City. It was a place for worshipping Guanyin Bodhisattva, hence the name Dashigao. It is one of the ancient buildings in China that is relatively close to the sea.

Dashigao was originally built in the early Ming Dynasty, featuring exquisite architecture and a rational layout. It is a two-story pavilion-style building with two halls connected. The entire pavilion is supported by thirty-six pillars and seventy-two beams, with one of the pillars suspended in the air without touching the ground, which is a rather unique part of the structure.
