Dong’ao Black Rock Cape is located between the Nanfang’ao and Dong’ao bays, forming a promontory that juts out into the sea. This solitary small rock hill marks the beginning of the main ridge of the Central Mountain Range, creating a peculiar landscape that stands tall in the middle of the ocean. The coastline from Neipei Beach to Black Rock Cape is characterized by steep cliffs that drop directly into the sea, making it difficult to see from the Suhua Highway. The site is open year-round and accessible 24 hours a day.
