Donghai Lingyan Scenic Area is located in the southern part of Sishutou, Xiangshan County, known as the ‘Fairyland on the Sea’, bordered by the Crab Claw Port to the east, and surrounded by hills and bays on three sides. It boasts beautiful landscapes with cliffs, steep peaks, and peculiar rocks scattered throughout the mountains; it is acclaimed as the ‘First Spectacle of Eastern Zhejiang’. The naturally formed thousand-foot cliff walls make it the premier spot for rock climbing in the East China region.
The scenic area offers a variety of mountain and wilderness entertainment activities, including Via Ferrata, dual-track slides, glass water rafting, jungle crossings, and high-altitude zip lines, which are fashionable outdoor tourism projects in line with current international trends. It is a distinctive forest sports and leisure destination in China.

The main attraction, the Starry Sky Bridge, spans the main peak of Lingyan, resembling a lotus blossoming amidst the clouds. The surrounding mountains are enveloped in mist, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. Other attractions such as the Lingyan Ladder, Thousand Foot Cliff, Reverse Waterfall, Immortal Cave, and Hundred Steps to Clouds are incredibly beautiful and offer an unparalleled sense of awe.

On the mountain, the Lingjing Temple and Lingyun Temple, both originally built during the Qing Dynasty, are popular places for worship and leisure sightseeing, with a thriving incense offering. The scenic area is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30; from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round.
