The Dongxing Port Scenic Area is a symbol of the national gate and a first-class national port where China and Vietnam have cities supporting each other. There is a saying that ‘if you don’t visit the port, your trip to Dongxing is in vain.’ The Dongxing Port Scenic Area mainly conducts activities such as sightseeing and shopping in the national gate tourist area. It is a future shopping paradise for tourism and a destination for sightseeing at the national gate. The goal is to build French-style arcade streets, tourist commodity streets, shopping malls, an international tourist distribution center, and the China-Vietnam Friendship Park. The scenic area is composed of three major sections: the China-Vietnam Friendship Park, the port pedestrian street, and the Chen Jitang Memorial Hall. The three sections are connected by the Beilun River bordering Vietnam, and the port atmosphere is very prominent.
